APO Finance is implementing a project titled: “Development, research and implementation of an innovative method of psychotherapy using virtual reality glasses with software supporting the course of treatment” co-financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism, 2014-2021.”

The product will be based on a software platform combining elements of therapy, rehabilitation and diagnosis in virtual reality with the possibility of controlling multiple devices by a single therapist. The beneficiary APO Finance Sp. z o. o. is implementing the project No. UWP- NORW.19.01.04-24-0011/20-00 under the Small Grants Scheme for Entrepreneurial Women of the “Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation” program under the title: “Development, research and implementation of an innovative method of psychotherapy using virtual reality glasses with software supporting the course of treatment” co-financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism, 2014-2021.

The aim of the project is to develop and implement a technologically improved device – virtual glasses supporting treatment of stress and depression. The functioning of the product will be based on a software platform combining elements of therapy, rehabilitation and diagnosis in virtual reality with the possibility to control multiple devices such as virtual glasses by one therapist – psychologist.

Applied formula of VR goggles application will be used during psychological consultations as a tool to support therapy, will also be able to use the device without leaving home, the elderly, and all those who need help in coping with stress and depression – to improve quality of life. Virtual therapy is intended to allow people who are not coping to break away from the real world, bring relief and expand their perception of reality in such a way as to give themselves a fighting chance against their illness.
